Ory Laboratory will open “Ory SNACK Kyoto,” utilizing its avatar robot OriHime, within “BOOKHOME,” which will open on December 4th (Friday) at Ogaki Bookstore.

This is a new type of snack bar where a “pilot” remotely controls the OriHime avatar robot and serves customers from behind the counter.

The bar will have a reservation-only area for enjoying sake tastings and a regular snack bar area where customers can drop in casually without a reservation. Prior to the opening, advance reservation tickets to experience “Ory SNACK Kyoto” will go on sale via crowdfunding starting September 16th (Wednesday).
