Marubun to Deploy DEEP Robotics’ Quadruped Robots for Unmanned Operations in Harsh Environments

DEEP Robotics「LYNX S10」

Marubun has signed a basic agreement with DEEP Robotics—a company specializing in quadruped robots—to collaborate and expand sales of the latter’s robots in the Japanese market.
Powered by advanced motion control and AI, DEEP Robotics’ quadruped robots enable automation and unmanned operations in harsh industrial environments where conventional robots struggle.
Utilizing proprietary control technology, they can walk and run with exceptional stability across complex terrain—such as stairs, steps, and rubble—and in adverse weather conditions.
Equipped with LiDAR and various sensors, the robots achieve autonomous environmental awareness, obstacle avoidance, and optimal route planning, enabling autonomous patrol inspections without human intervention. They feature a robust design with IP67-equivalent dust and water resistance.
They can be fitted with a variety of modules—such as high-resolution cameras, infrared thermography, gas detectors, and robotic arms—to suit specific applications and site requirements.
