NTT DATA and NTT docomo Business are launching a cyber risk response service that leverages “Frontier AI.”
The service provides end-to-end support, ranging from the detection of threats and vulnerabilities to impact assessment, prioritization, the formulation of remediation strategies, the execution of remediation, and ongoing operations.
By collaborating with domestic and international partners providing Frontier AI, the two companies evaluated and verified multiple Frontier AI technologies; they confirmed the technologies’ effectiveness not only in detecting and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities but also in assessing impact, determining priorities, and formulating remediation strategies.
Furthermore, drawing on their experience in system development and vulnerability assessment, the companies verified and evaluated the service’s applicability based on the operational and security requirements essential for critical systems.
Based on these verification results, the service combines Frontier AI’s analytical capabilities with the expertise of the companies’ cybersecurity specialist organizations (such as NTTDATA-CERT) and their management and operational know-how gained from over 10,000 mission-critical systems. It also integrates the service operation and security expertise NTT Docomo Business has cultivated as a critical infrastructure operator to propose response strategies that account for business impacts and operational constraints.
