NTT DATA Promotes Online Corporate Finance

NTT DATA has expanded the scope of its “Online Direct Debit Acceptance Gateway Service,” which allows for online direct debit contracts, to include corporate accounts.
This service, Japan’s first multi-bank online platform, integrates with financial institutions’ corporate internet banking services to enable non-face-to-face, paperless corporate direct debit contracts. It improves business efficiency, customer convenience, and reduces environmental impact.
Daido Life Group’s Japan System Collection, which handles direct debit collections, introduced the service on Wednesday, the 20th, and is using it for direct debit procedures for Daido Life Insurance’s corporate insurance products.
Akita Bank and Saikyo Bank will participate as initial participating financial institutions.
Aiming to contribute to improving the productivity of corporate business activities, NTT DATA will expand the adoption of this service to collection companies in various industries that handle direct debit collections, including the insurance industry.
NTT DATA is also collaborating with Regional Bank Network Services, which provides “Web Direct Debit Acceptance Services” through regional banks and other institutions, to expand support to regional and second-tier regional banks.
The company aims to collaborate with 100 financial institutions, primarily regional banks and second-tier regional banks, by 2030, and will accelerate the onlineization of corporate financial transactions nationwide, with an eye toward expanding to city banks and other institutions.
