NTT DATA is working to expand the functionality, enhance quality, and provide long-term support for “Prossione Virtualization,” which manages and operates virtualization platforms using KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine).
KVM is a software module included in the Linux kernel, an open source software (OSS), that enables server virtualization.
Cybertrust has a track record of supporting Linux distributions and advanced technical capabilities in OSS and security.
NTT DATA will leverage these capabilities to further improve product quality and strengthen its support system.
The results of this collaboration will be available as “Prossione Virtualization” next spring.

Prior to this, NTT DATA released “Proscione Virtualization 1.0” on Thursday, July 31st.

The company also plans to deploy a KVM-based integrated banking cloud service, currently under development.
The products included in Proscione Virtualization provide an intuitive user interface for centrally managing and operating virtual machines on multiple servers, enabling a wider range of system operators to manage and operate virtualization platforms that use KVM.
