NTT DX Partners exhibits at the Expo with the theme “Future Sleep”

NTT DX Partners, together with SOXAI, is participating in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “FY2023 Supplementary PHR Social Implementation Acceleration Project,” a demonstration project aimed at expanding the number of PHR (Personal Health Record) service users and creating use cases. With development support from Connell, they have developed a new piece of clothing with the theme of “future sleep,” the “ZZZN SLEEP APPAREL SYSTEM” (photo).
The clothing is equipped with a system that induces sleepiness by operating the built-in sound and lighting equipment according to the wearer’s condition based on health data acquired from vital data acquisition devices such as ring-type devices. The function is activated at the optimal time based on the wearer’s health data, automatically encouraging a 20-minute nap and subsequent wake-up.
The use case created will be exhibited and offered for experience at the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
The importance of using PHR for prevention and health promotion is high, and from the perspective of extending healthy lifespan and preventing illness, it is expected to create new industries and improve the quality of existing products and services.
NTT DX Partners has developed the “ZZZN SLEEP APPAREL SYSTEM” with the theme of “portable sleep.”
In a society where we are connected online 24 hours a day, 265 days a year, the system focuses on “a new form of rest through disconnection from the information society,” focusing on the decreasing amount of time the mind and body are offline.
