Nippon Syahei Giken has signed a joint research agreement with Aizu University.

Amid frequent incidents of wire theft and pest damage at solar power plants, Nippon Syahei Giken is developing “AI security services using cordless devices to address the declining population of society,” and will work with Aizu University to develop an “AI threat alarm”.

Using the technology being worked on by Professor Saito Hiroshi’s group at Aizu University as the core, the company aims to provide advanced security services using edge AI.
