Mizuho Bank, Mizuho Research & Technologies, and the town of Hachijo in Tokyo have partnered with Fujitsu to utilize Fujitsu’s cutting-edge AI technology as part of efforts to make Hachijojima a smart island and a sustainable island. We will strengthen the demonstration of image recognition AI models to understand the status of humpback whale migration, and the possibility of its use in tourism promotion.
