Battery platform for electric vehicles, cross-industry ecosystem NTT Data
NTT Data has released ”Battery Traceability Platform” a cross-industry ecosystem for batteries for electric vehicles.
The platform enables cross-border data linkage between companies involved in the battery lifecycle, and allows for CO2 emissions and resource recycling rates throughout the battery lifecycle under the battery regulations enacted in Europe in 2023. in response to disclosures to the European Commission.
First, it will provide a function that allows companies to safely share carbon footprint information during battery manufacturing.
This project aims to address social issues (carbon neutrality, circular economy, etc.) and economic issues (supply chain disruption due to pandemics, economic security, etc.) by building a cross-border and cross-industry data collaboration platform advocated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This is the first use case of the Uranus Ecosystem, a public-private partnership initiative that aims to solve problems such as I plan on going.
NTT Data has set a goal of having more than 500 companies use the service over the next five years.
