Providing truck residence time visualization service SOMPO Risk Management and OKI
Sompo Risk Management and OKI have begun providing a truck residence time visualization service using ETC2.0 probe data, with the aim of solving social issues related to transportation and logistics that are necessary to realize the public-private ITS concept in Japan. ETC2.0 probe data is driving data that is obtained at 200 meter intervals using an antenna installed on the roadside, such as the position and speed of a vehicle equipped with an ETC2.0 onboard device.
In this service, OKI will provide the vehicle operation management support cloud service “LocoMobi2.0” as a business operator that can obtain “ETC2.0 specific probe information” limited to vehicles entering and exiting the facility.
In addition, Sompo Japan, Sompo Risk, and OKI will conduct a demonstration experiment until July to utilize ETC2.0 probe data in automobile accident assessment operations.
The aim is to have a system for calculating the percentage of fault that does not rely on the memories of those involved in car accidents by March next year.
