Improving sleep habits with behavior modification technology OKI

OKI has begun selling ”Wellbit Sleep,” a behavior modification service that uses behavior modification technology to improve sleep habits.
This service is a cloud-based service that allows users to receive personalized behavioral advice messages by entering their daily sleep times and sleep-related questionnaires into a smartphone app such as LINE.
In a clinical trial conducted by Kyoto University targeting workers with sleep issues, it was confirmed that sleep awareness improved.

OKI   began offering the service in June to service providers providing health promotion services. The company aims to achieve annual sales of 200 million yen in its sleep tech business by fiscal 2026.
In a four-week trial run for 200 employees of the company group, it was confirmed that productivity improved for all participants. OKI’s human resources department says it was able to help improve sleep habits in a short period of time. In addition, when you measured presenteeism during the experiment, you were able to measure loss reduction. Presenteeism is a situation in which an employee is present at work, but their work efficiency is reduced due to some health problem.
The company group also cited the fact that it has become a tool to convey the importance of sleep as a point of evaluation.
The company plans to continue working to improve employee sleep in fiscal 2024.
