Joyo City Board of Education, NTT West Kyoto Branch, and NTT Smart Connect will introduce ” 3D Educational Metaverse” developed by NTT Smart Connect into adaptive guidance classrooms in Joyo City to support children and students who do not attend school.
3D Educational Metaverse is a virtual space specialized in education that enables inquiry learning, active learning, and exchange classes with other schools. It can be used in school-specific situations such as classes, general meetings, group work, and interviews.
This is the first attempt in Kyoto Prefecture to utilize 3D Educational Metaverse to support children who do not attend school.
The plan is to establish ” new learning space” for children who are not attending school, where they can learn from each other and promote independence.
