“Carbon cake” expressing atmospheric conditions using digital twin Fujitsu
Fujitsu has developed a campaign called ” CARBON CAKES Thinking about Our Air,” which uses social digital twin technology to encourage people to think about the balance between environmental, social, and economic activities.
In this campaign, they unveiled a cake called ” Carbon Cake” that represents atmospheric conditions such as CO2 and PM2.5. It’s ” inedible cake” that uses CO2 (baking soda) and PM2.5 (soot) as ingredients.
The amount of baking soda and soot used is changed depending on the atmospheric conditions to express the misshapen shape and color of the cake. It was created to visualize the state of the atmosphere in stages to encourage dialogue toward reducing CO2 and PM2.5 and achieving a balance between the environment, society, and economy.
