NEC and Oracle  are partnering with NEC’s APN, which utilizes IOWN and features high capacity and low latency, and Oracle’s OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), which enables high-speed, low-latency data management in a distributed cloud environment. By combining these, they have begun co-creation activities aimed at realizing new collaborations and experiences that transcend locations.
As a starting point for this co-creation activity, they built a free-viewpoint viewing demonstration environment in the “NEC CONNECT Lab” located at NEC’s Abiko Plant using IOWN’s APN and OCI, assuming interactive remote live participation.
