NTT docomo and NEC will establish OREX SAI Corporation, a joint venture company that will provide OREX Packages, on April 1st in order to fully expand Open RAN overseas.
OREX SAI procures all OREX PARTNERS products and services locally, verifies system operation, and then provides mobile networks that meet the needs of overseas carriers.
By leveraging NEC’s business infrastructure and global capabilities in more than 50 countries and regions, it will be possible to develop global business more quickly.
OREX Packages is a general term for services that combine OREX’s open RAN services “OREX RAN,” “OREX SMO,” and “OREXServices” according to the requests of each carrier.
