Quemix, a venture company that conducts research and development on quantum computers, and Microwave Chemistry will begin joint research using Quemix’s magnetic material simulation software” Quloud-Mag” in the design process of microwave heating equipment.
The aim is to accelerate the business by improving the accuracy of predicting the microwave absorption characteristics of magnetic materials, which are important in fields such as metal smelting and refining, where microwave chemistry is expanding. In the future, Quloud-Mag will be used as a new simulation-centered material development method to reduce man-hours and costs.
Microwave Chemistry has built Green Mining-MX, a microwave technology platform for the metal smelting field, and is expanding its range of applications to include the extraction of useful substances from ores and iron manufacturing, which have a large impact on carbon neutrality. In these fields, prediction of the microwave absorption capacity of magnetic materials is the core of the technology platform.
For this reason, in our joint research, they are combining Quloud-Mag, a simulation software that enables the prediction of the properties and magnetic behavior of magnetic materials, with microwave absorption measurement technology owned by Microwave Chemistry. they aim to improve the prediction accuracy of absorption capacity and expand the prediction range.
The two companies will jointly verify the usefulness of Quloud-Mag as a simulation and aim to put it into practical use.
