Developed rubbing aroma stone and supported Kunihiro Sangyo’s launch of D2C business NTT DX Partner

NTT DX Partner and Kunihiro Sangyo have developed a “rubbable aroma stone that releases fragrance from the stone,” and have begun pre-selling it through Makuake.
This product is a new aroma stone inspired by the action of “rubbing”, which is familiar to Japanese calligraphy culture. To solve the problem of conventional aroma stones, which was that the scent did not spread very well, we utilized the weight and natural texture of stones to spread the scent when rubbed, delivering the calming and excitement that stones bring to the mind.
Kunihiro Sangyo has been operating a B2B business for over 50 years as a specialized manufacturer of abrasive stones that are essential for processing a variety of products. On the other hand, Kunihiro Sangyo is aiming for D2C (Direct to Consumer) business. In collaboration with NTT DX partners, we are working towards the full-scale launch of the business and sales of new products.
