Matterport provided Matterport’s digital twin solution to Tokyu Construction in the civil engineering field. Digital twin solutions improve operational efficiency by utilizing digital twins in tasks such as current status surveys, finished product management, and communication and reporting with stakeholders.
Matterport’s digital twin solution is so easy to operate that anyone in the field can handle it, and point cloud data and photographic images can be quickly acquired.
Additionally, anyone involved can measure dimensions on a browser without the need to install software, making it possible to remote work that requires dimension measurement, such as workpiece management.
With the tag function that allows you to paste materials such as drawings and videos like sticky notes inside the digital twin, and the notes function that allows asynchronous communication within the digital twin, it is possible to faithfully record and visualize the site.
