Building a regular medical delivery network as a logistics service and conducting a demonstration experiment on blood transportation in Mongolia Aeronext
Aeronext and Mongolia’s Newcom Group have reached a basic agreement on collaboration to commercialize drone logistics services in Mongolia. In the future, they will consider forming a joint venture.
In September, the two companies held a national blood transfusion project in Ulaanbaatar City with the aim of building a regular medical delivery network in Mongolia as members of the “Mongolian New Smart Logistics Promotion Working Group” to build a delivery network using drones and implement new smart logistics in society. A demonstration experiment of blood transport by drone was successfully conducted on a round-trip route of approximately 9.5 kilometers between the Center and the Mongolia-Japan Hospital attached to the National Medical University of Mongolia.
In the city of Ulaanbaatar, located at an altitude of 1,300 meters, in a harsh environment with an outside temperature of -15 degrees Celsius, an automatic flight over a third party that falls under what Japan calls “Level 4 (unaided flight beyond visual line of sight in a manned area)” The world’s first flight by navigation. This is the first flight in Mongolia for transportation and delivery purposes that has received official permission and approval from the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority.
