Six companies, NTT, NTT Anode Energy, Kansai Electric Power, JR West, JR Freight, and Panasonic, have reached a basic agreement to collaborate on domestic hydrogen transportation and utilization utilizing infrastructure in the Himeji area of Hyogo Prefecture. Based on the agreement, research and study will be conducted on hydrogen transportation and utilization methods starting in the Himeji area, with the aim of establishing an inexpensive and efficient hydrogen supply chain by the 2030s.
