Partnership for EV equipment maintenance OKI and Panasonic

OKI Crosstech and Panasonic Electric Works have partnered to provide maintenance and operation services for EV charging infrastructure equipment for Panasonic’s EV charger sharing service “everiwa Charger Share”.
Under this partnership, OKI Crosstech will maintain and manage the EV charging infrastructure facilities of EV charger hosts that request maintenance and operation services nationwide. By utilizing the maintenance and operation know-how that the company has cultivated in ATMs (automated teller machines) and ICT equipment, and the support service network consisting of 180 locations nationwide, the company eliminates the hassle and anxiety associated with the operation and maintenance of EV charging infrastructure equipment. The company aims to expand the number of Everywa Charger Share charging spots and expand the EV charging infrastructure nationwide.
As the first step in the partnership, they have begun working together on charger maintenance at a charging spot in Ichikawa City Hall No. 1, Chiba Prefecture. Full-scale rollout of maintenance and operation services is scheduled for next spring.
