NTT Smile Energy has begun providing the on-site PPA service “Smile Soraeru Denki” to the roofs of new and used car dealerships operated by Nextage (Nagoya City).
NTT Smile Energy covered the cost and installed solar power generation equipment on the roofs of four Nextage stores: Tokitajimi store, Gifu No. 21 Bypass store, Tsu store, and Matsusaka store. The power generated by the power generation equipment will be supplied, and Nextage will pay NTT Smile Energy a fee based on the amount used.
Belight Neo (Nagoya City), which has a nationwide electrical construction network, will be in charge of installation work.
A PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) is a power purchase agreement concluded between a consumer and a power generator.
A model in which a power generation company installs a solar power generation system on the premises or roof of a consumer and sells the electricity generated there to the consumer is called an on-site PPA model.
