In the summer, scary stories are broadcast on TV, and one of them is “a small uncle.” Whether or not you have seen a middle-aged man-like dwarf. The other day, when I turned on the fluorescent light to work in his home study, something was moving even in the ashtray. In my eyes, for a moment, he looked like a dwarf. “Is this the little old man you’re talking about?” I’m not good with reptiles, so I reflexively backed away. The lizard took the opportunity to escape. “A lizard, I’d rather have a little uncle.” (Kei)
