Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. has benn commissioned by Saitama Prefectural Police Headquarters to undertake “traffic regulation road signs and road marking installation status survey work”, and using its “Michiten” series of road accessory maintenance and management solutions, Nagatoro Town and Higashi Chichibu A digital ledger of road signs and road markings (about 1,000 places) in the village has been created.
From the results of this work, it has been confirmed that the continuous use of the Michiten series can contribute to the appropriate maintenance and management of road signs and road marking management ledger data.
Saitama Prefectural Police Headquarters hopes that the use of drive recorders for inspections of traffic safety facilities will lead to significant labor savings.
