EARTHBRAIN has released “Smart Construction Retrofit” that supports all swing angles of boom swing type hydraulic excavators.
By retrofitting conventional construction machinery such as hydraulic excavators and mini excavators, it is a service that enables ICT functions such as 3D machine guidance functions at a low cost and easily. By adding an angle sensor to the boom swing section, all swing angles can be handled, and 3D machine guidance functions can be used in the entire range of work.
Users who already use the conventional “SmartConstructionRetrofit” can also use the service that supports all swing angles by purchasing additional kits.
At the beginning of the service, Komatsu’s “PC30MR-5” and “PC45MR-5” will support use in all swing ranges.
In the future, they plan to gradually expand the compatible models, including non-Komatsu boom swing type hydraulic excavators.
