From April 2020, Tokyo College of Music will establish a new “Music Business Technology Major” (MBT Major) to study ICT professionally.
It is said that the college will develop human resources who will acquire “music x ICT” and open up the future of entertainment and business.
In the MBT major, students learn step-by-step sound techniques using computers, sound programming, recording techniques, and music production. Even those who have no specialized learning experience can learn from the basics such as music theory and songwriting after entering the school. You will also learn how computers work from the very beginning. Programming focuses on Python and C language, and learns the technology required in the real world until application production.
