As part of its promotion of DX, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) has built an environment and system in which about 30,000 people in the DNP Group in Japan and overseas can use generative AI in their work, and started operation on the 31st of last month.
By using ChatGPT on the “Azure OpenAI Service” provided by Microsoft Japan, the data used in the company is kept within the company and operated in a highly secure environment to prevent information leakage. It is used by employees in various departments and occupations within the company.
DNP creates appropriate questions and instructions (prompts) for maximizing the use of AI, and provides “prompt engineering” to improve the quality of answers and proposals obtained from AI. “In-house training” and “hackathons” for creating ideas and services will be continuously implemented.
