Tokyu Construction and Clean Energy Connect have newly developed 47 non-FIT low-voltage solar power plants exclusively for Tokyu Construction, and sell the generated electricity to the wholesale electricity market. They operate a virtual PPA service that offers additional renewable energy environmental value. The service will generate environmental value of approximately 4.4 million kWh of electricity per year from renewable energy with additionality.
This is equivalent to a reduction of about 1,900 tons of carbon dioxide, contributing to a reduction of about 20% of the annual carbon dioxide emissions associated with the use of electricity at Tokyu Construction’s construction sites.
