Hitachi has delivered a “Basin Basin Flood Control Flood Damage Prediction System” to Aomori Prefecture.
This system incorporates not only map data from the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, but also river data and LP data owned by prefectures, enabling high-precision and high-speed inundation simulations.
It also has the expandability of functions such as evacuation and emergency activity support using simulation results, and is effective for both hard and soft watershed flood control measures in national and local governments.
