NTT East has started a demonstration at its own facility to realize wireless manufacturing and logistics processes by utilizing the managed local 5G service “Giga Raku 5G”.
In this demonstration, at manufacturing and logistics sites, we will verify the connection to Giga-raku 5G of multiple devices that are responsible for the “transportation and inspection process”, where automation is particularly promoted, and manufacture execution software through Giga-raku 5G. By realizing centralized management of various equipment, we aim to realize manufacturing and distribution processes with flexibility and immediacy.
