Solve local problems by matching with solution supporters Sendai City, NTT docomo and NTT Communications
Sendai City, NTT docomo, and NTT Communications have started a demonstration experiment aimed at resolving problems by matching local residents who have problems with problem solution supporters.
Problems faced by local residents are collected by the operator and registered on the digital platform by the coordinator. Matching is established when problem solving supporters raise their hands to solve the problems of local residents.
In order to collect problems from local residents, we will conduct our own smartphone classrooms, improve awareness of the demonstration experiment, and promote the creation of an environment where it is easy to consult about problems. In the smartphone classroom, lectures are given in a form similar to individual instruction according to each participant’s field of interest based on original texts specialized for seniors.
In Japan, it is expected that the number of local residents who have various problems in their daily lives will increase further due to the acceleration of the declining birthrate and aging population. Therefore, the three parties agreed to work together to utilize and complement each other’s strengths to solve regional issues and enhance well-being using digital technology.
