NTT Sonority released the wireless personal ear speaker “nwm MBE001”.
First of all, they will start selling at Bic Camera. It will be available online on Amazon in the middle of this month. From May onwards, they will increase the number of home appliance mass retailers.
The nwm MBE001 has an open ear, but minimizes sound leakage.
The nwm MBE001 is equipped with the world’s first technology “PSZ” developed by NTT Laboratories. Since PSZ confines the sound only to the ear, there is almost no sound leakage to the surroundings, and it can be used without hesitation in public spaces such as offices and cafes.
Hiroshi Sakai, president of NTT Sonority, said, “Normal earphones aim to maximize the sense of immersion in sound. nwm aims to create a worldview that allows you to connect with others and communicate while listening to music. The nwm MBE001 is based on the concept of ‘Earphones that can be used together.’ Since we are using earphones more and more in our daily lives, we are aiming for earphones that can be used in all situations.”
In particular, the target users are working dads and working moms who are busy with work, housework, and childcare. It also targets businessmen who are doing remote work and online meetings every day.
NTT Sonority envisions a lifestyle in which people enjoy listening to music while communicating with others during their busy days.
