On April 18, NTT docomo will start a prefectural-level VPP demonstration experiment using small distributed storage batteries. In Yamanashi Prefecture, NTT docomo has installed solar panels and storage batteries on the premises of docomo shops, wireless base stations, and Yamanashi Prefecture Yonekurayama Next-Generation Energy System Research and Development Village, which is a prefectural facility, and is developed and operated by NTT docomo. By connecting to the “Energy Management System Platform”, remote monitoring and control operation verification of power generation and storage equipment will be performed.
