NTT DATA is working on remote/automation of equipment inspection work using robots at the NTT Shinagawa TWINS DATA Building, and has confirmed that it is possible to reduce equipment inspection work, which was conventionally performed manually, by about 50%.

After starting technical verification in September of last year, this initiative was tested on site from August to November this year.

From April next year, the robot will be introduced to the company’s data center bases nationwide.
