The training assumes that an earthquake with a seismic intensity of upper 6 occurs and damages at Yokohama. Using Kozaku Building as a frontline base for recovery, they simulated the installation of disaster countermeasure equipment in the affected area.

As a temporary public telephone installation training, the 11P-150M portable digital radio system was used and restored with the new synchronous digital interface (STM). Training was also conducted to secure communications with the PUE (Portable Satellite Communication System).
Command vehicle training was also conducted. A command car is a vehicle that is dispatched to a disaster area for on-site command in the event of a disaster. The Kanagawa Division has two command vehicles.
