In collaboration with NEC, Fukuda Gumi has developed a rock mass evaluation system that utilizes video and AI to support the work of constantly evaluating the quality of rock mass at mountain tunnel construction sites.
This system supports the work of tunnel engineers by analyzing videos of tunnel excavation using AI and reporting the state of the ground. It is hoped that this will contribute to reforms.
