Joint research towards realization of map sharing between different species robots NTT West and TelWel West
NTT West and TelWel West try to establishment of the map base technology which can share the map among service robots. They started “the joint research towards realization of map sharing between different species robots.”
This research proves the map integrated technology which unifies the adjoining land figure generated by the differentness time zone or the differentness robot on one map. Moreover, they prove the map conversion technology which they convert into the map set by robot specification.
They distribute map information to the office cleaning robot, and evaluate whether the robot can complete business.
They check whether the field staff can carry out operation of the
map agg and conversion satisfactorily.
NTT West has aimed at realization of the society which provides service with various robots, in order to solve the labor shortage problem.
