Medical DX using smartphones Nara Prefecture and NTT Communications
From January to March this year, Nara Prefecture and NTT Communications carried out a demonstration experiment at two medical institutions in Nara Prefecture regarding work style reforms for healthcare workers through medical DX using smartphones.

More than 80% of medical institutions still use PHS as a means of communication. On the other hand, PHS ended its public service in March this year, and an increasing number of hospitals are considering smartphones as a successor communication method.
In the demonstration experiment, it was confirmed that lending and utilizing smartphones in addition to PHS will contribute to work style reforms for healthcare workers. Based on the results of the demonstration experiment, Nara Prefecture and NTT Communications will continue to work together to promote the use of various IT tools, including smartphones, and promote medical DX.
