NTT docomo, NTT Anode Energy, and NTT Smile Energy started a joint demonstration experiment of home solar power generation and storage batteries on May 15 with the aim of realizing a decarbonized society.
They provide residential energy services using Smile Energy’s solar power generation and storage batteries in limited areas. Users can install solar power generation panels and storage batteries in their homes for a fixed monthly fee with no initial cost. By sharing the data and know-how obtained through the provision of services among the three companies, NTT docomo will utilize it in examining new services.
It is envisioned as a service for consumers that combines “docomo denki” and “home energy service using solar panels and storage batteries”.
