NEC has concluded a charter contract with GMSL (Global Marine Systems Limited) of the UK for a submarine optical cable laying ship for about four years.
This will strengthen the provision of submarine cable systems and respond to the growing demand for laying submarine cables due to the increase in global data traffic.
