NTT docomo put the enterprise of “NTT QONOQ” into operation. It is the purpose to promote XR enterprise.
A former NTT docomo vice president, Seiji Maruyama serves as the president of NTT QONOQ.

NTT QONOQ develops three enterprises such metaverse, digital twin and XR device, utilizing VR,AR,MR.
For example, they are promoting preparation of the virtual office which connects office, school and house.
They build the virtual Yumeshima Venu in Osaka expo 2025.

President Maruyama says “XR extends self-expression and the possibility of experience. It becomes communication revolution and people’s life richer. It evolves business model and urge operating revolution. For that purpose, rich contents, network which transmits them, and small and lightweight device with abundant throughput are required. So that NTT QONOQ provides by one including service, network and device”.
