NTT West’s QUINTBRIDGE Wins FCAJ Award for Its Self-Sustaining Community Model

QUINTBRIDGE (pictured)—an open innovation facility operated by NTT West—has received an award in the “Future Center” category at the “FCAJ Award,” organized by the Future Center Alliance Japan (FCAJ).
QUINTBRIDGE currently involves approximately 2,500 organizations and 34,000 individuals, having fostered over 190 co-creation projects.
The facility was recognized for its commitment to building a self-sustaining community—one that does not rely solely on its managing entity.
It was also commended for its focus on “Creating Shared Value” (CSV) and addressing social issues, serving as a hub where diverse individuals can connect and launch collaborative projects.
The FCAJ Award honors “spaces” that have long supported and actively facilitated co-creation among industry, government, academia, and the public. The selection process begins with an initial screening of approximately 100 such spaces across Japan—based on quantitative data, interviews, and site visits—followed by a final evaluation by a panel of experts.
