Hitachi. has agreed to a collaborative partnership with Agile Robots SE of Germany to develop AI robotics brains.

Through this collaboration, Hitachi will integrate its AI model, which can learn complex manufacturing tasks in a short period of time, with Agile Robots’ general-purpose AI model used in a wide range of industries. This will accelerate the enhancement of the AI ​​model, which is the “brain” that enables robots to perceive, judge, and act flexibly in the real world.

Hitachi plans to use the AI ​​robotics brains created through this collaboration to learn domain knowledge from industrial sites, evolve them into physical AI that can be implemented in manufacturing sites, and deploy them globally as “HMAX Industry.” This will create autonomous next-generation manufacturing sites that address social issues such as labor shortages.
