Hitachi Technical College, Hitachi Ltd.’s training institution for manufacturing talent, will be the first in Japan to fully implement the “Cyber-Physical Lab (CP-Lab)” advanced education system, which links the digital space (cyber) with the actual manufacturing site (physical), starting in April. This will launch a new educational curriculum aimed at cultivating talent to lead the next generation of manufacturing.

CP-Lab is a system provided by Festo GmbH in Germany that visualizes the real-time interaction between physical production lines (physical) and control programs, allowing students to learn the basic structure of smart factories based on Industry 4.0/IoT.
