NTT docomo’s “SyncMe” understands and responds to users’ personalities
NTT docomo will be releasing a pilot version of its new personal AI agent, “SyncMe,” to monitors this spring.
The service is scheduled to be rolled out to all users this summer.
The system analyzes user information stored in d Accounts to estimate tendencies related to values and personality. Using these results, it provides optimal responses to each individual from the moment they begin using the service. The more the service is used, the more personalized it becomes.
The system also analyzes 20 photos taken by the user to estimate tendencies related to sensibilities and preferences that are difficult to put into words. These inferences are combined with user information stored in d Accounts to create a profile of the user’s characteristics, which are reflected in subsequent suggestions and responses during conversations.
The service is equipped with the company’s proprietary guardrail feature, which prevents the output of harmful text, such as violent or discriminatory language. Furthermore, strict information management based on the company’s established security standards ensures a safe and secure environment.
