Yamaha has released “Yamaha Music Connect API”, which is an API version of some of the technologies it has developed over many years of research and development.
This API is a group of services that provide the company’s technologies in the form of APIs. Technologies related to music score production, such as MIDI and music score conversion, will be released as web APIs. The company plans to continue expanding its lineup of released APIs.
The company plans to widely release the technologies it has accumulated in its product and software development for musical instruments and audio equipment, which are its main business, and to expand their use, in order to connect them to customer experiences outside of its existing business.
