Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido and NTT docomo have concluded a “Future Co-creation Partnership.” In order to realize a public-private co-creation public where no one is left out, they aim to solve social issues by combining the regional assets owned by Kamikawa Town with docomo’s communication technology and digital technology.
The first step of the project is the launch of the “Kamikawa Super Guild.” “Kamikawa Super Guild” is a guild (organization) that brings together people who want to revitalize Kamikawa Town, people who love Kamikawa Town, and people like that, regardless of the size of their feelings for Kamikawa Town or where they live. They discuss ideas for utilizing the attractive regional resources that Kamikawa Town possesses. They work on regional revitalization by deciding and carrying out what they want to do within the guild. By implementing this initiative, which can liven up the region from anywhere in the country, they aim to increase Kamikawa Town’s connected population to 100 million people.
