Intercom service at Narita Airport Yamaha
Yamaha has upgraded its SoundUD-compatible “Smartphone Intercom,” which allows users to make voice and video calls and communicate in multiple languages using their smartphones, to provide an intercom service using stationary monitor terminals at facilities.
This time, the company has introduced the stationary monitor terminal intercom service for the first time in passenger terminals 1, 2, and 3 at Narita International Airport, and together with the existing trigger board type, it is now available at 119 locations within the airport.
SoundUD takes into consideration universal design of sound to accommodate a variety of users, including foreigners, people with hearing concerns, and people with hearing impairments.
