Opening of second data center in Tokyo area Australia AirTrunk
Australia’s AirTrunk has opened its second data center, TOK2, in the Tokyo area.
Located in western Tokyo, it is one of the largest data centers in Japan with a site area of 4.6 hectares and can be expanded to over 110 megawatts.
It will complement each other with TOK1 in the eastern Tokyo area.
The initial phase of TOK2 will provide 60 MW of capacity to the company’s largest customers.
The opening of TOK2 was achieved three months after the start of construction of the company’s first data center in the Osaka area, OSK1. These three data centers provide over 430 megawatts of capacity in Japan to some of the world’s and Japan’s largest technology companies.
