Double the antenna output Fujikura
Fujikura has developed a high-power version Type-C of its 28GHz band millimeter-wave phased array antenna module (PAAM) “FutureAccess” for 5G base stations, and will begin supplying samples. At the same time, they plan to start offering evaluation boards equipped with the same module.
The newly developed high-output version of PAAM retains its features of being compact, requiring no calibration, and can be tiled, while improving the design of the high-frequency integrated circuit on board to approximately double the antenna output. As the communication area expands, the quality of communication calls improves, providing a stable connection environment. By reviewing the internal configuration, we have made it possible to cover the entire band operation of N257 (26・5-29・5GHz) and N258 (24・25-27・5GHz) with a single piece of hardware.
